The ABC Bullion 2 Troy Oz Cast Gold Bar is a pour-moulded bar produced at ABC Bullion's Sydney refinery, stamped with the ABC logo (rounded square hallmark), weight (2oz), fineness (GOLD 999.9), and CHI Essayeur Fondeur certification. The organic surface texture — characteristic of high-purity gold casting — is normal and does not affect gold content or resale value.
The 2oz is the natural step between the 1oz and 5oz in the ABC Bullion troy-oz cast range. It offers a meaningful premium reduction over the 1oz while requiring less than half the outlay of a 5oz bar — ideal for investors incrementally building their gold holdings one step at a time. Allocated storage: your bar is ring-fenced in our vault, identified by hallmark and weight, and insured at full replacement value through Lloyd's of London. Storage fee: 0.15% per annum. Sell at 100% spot at any time without taking delivery.
Investment-grade gold (≥99.5% pure) is exempt from GST under Australian law. This bar is GST-free. Selling is a Capital Gains Tax event — if held more than 12 months, the 50% CGT discount applies to individuals. A detailed tax invoice is provided for every purchase. Retain for CGT records.
