The ABC Bullion 10 Troy Oz Cast Silver Bar is the larger of ABC Bullion's two troy-ounce denominated silver bars. At 311.035g, it contains exactly double the silver of the 5oz bar. It carries the same distinctive ABC rounded square logo, "10oz / FINE SILVER / 999.5" stamping, and Australia assay disc as the 5oz — a consistent troy-oz silver format alongside ABC Bullion's gold cast bar range.
Each bar is pour-moulded at ABC Bullion's Sydney refinery and individually serial-numbered. At approximately 9% over spot (ex-GST), the 10oz bar is marginally more premium-efficient than the 5oz (~10%), reflecting the standard pattern where larger bars carry slightly tighter premiums.
Investment-grade gold (≥99.5% Au) is GST-exempt under Australian law. Silver does not qualify — all silver bars attract 10% GST regardless of size, purity, or denomination. Key implications:
- Buy price: The price shown includes 10% GST. A full GST tax invoice is provided with every purchase.
- Sell price: When selling silver, you receive the ex-GST price. GST forms part of the effective buy-sell spread.

The ABC Bullion troy-oz silver range consists of two bars — the 5oz and the 10oz. Both are denominated in troy ounces, both carry the same ABC hallmark, and both attract 10% GST. The differences:

Silver tarnishes when exposed to air and sulfur compounds.
